People of Conshohocken – Gavin Picard

We have close to 10,000 people in our borough, add in the residents of West Conshohocken, Plymouth, Whitemarsh and Lafayette Hill and we have a large community. Some of the people that will be featured will be well known in the area, some will have just moved into the area, some will have been here their entire lives. Some of them may be business owners, or people who walk around the area, or maybe work in the area. Maybe you know them, maybe you don’t. Everyone has a story. While we are only going to take their picture and maybe ask a question or two, we want to share these stories with you.

Alright… maybe you’ve seen them, maybe you haven’t…. but we caught up with one of the young dudes who decorate their truck and drive around brightening up the streets this time of year. So, this is a special People of Conshohocken featuring Gavin Picard.
Gavin is a senior at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School.
He’s been doing this for a couple of years and he says it brings smiles to lots of people. Kids roll down windows and yell from their parents back seats. It took him a couple hours to do it to his truck.
He isn’t the only one who does this, you might have seen his friends Justin, Brayden or Brady out and about. A couple of them even have Christmas trees standing up in the truck bed.
Gavin told me, some people appreciate the lights on the vehicles, as not everyone can get out of their house to drive around to see lights that decorate houses.
