You may have seen that Girl Scout Cookie season is here.

Over the past few years my daughter Nora has offered to deliver to the Colonial Neighborhood Council for anyone who wants to support the Girl Scouts but not actually eat the cookies. She would love to make that offer again this year. You are also making a local family’s day by donating Girl Scout Cookies.

She is also happy to deliver to anyone in the community, starting on Thursday January 15th, 2026.

Cookies this year are $6 per box, $7 if you are interested in the gluten free caramel chocolate chip cookies.

Flavors include Thin Mint, Peanut Butter Patties, Adventurefuls, Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Sandwich (Do-si-dos, Lemonades, Trefoils (shortbread) and a new cookie….. Exploremores! Exploremore is a sandwich coolie with chocolate, marshmallow and almond flavor creme.

There will be local troops set up all over the community. If you buy at a booth, let the Girl Scouts make your change, let them take an extra minute to get your order right…. it is more about learning skills than just making a sale.
