Small Business Saturday in Conshy
11/25/2022
By Brian Coll
Small businesses appreciate the love on small business Saturday, and honestly every day. If you’re up for it, a few of our local businesses got together and created a card to get punched as you walk Fayette Street tomorrow. I want to point out the places participating: Artist’s Loft, Coll’s Custom Framing, Flocco’s, Sanctuary Blu, Thirteen Circles and XTRA Boutique. Visit these places, in any order, grab a card from your first visit and then stop in the other stores. I’m sure they all would love a few extra sales tomorrow, but whether you buy something or not, they would love to see some smiling faces.
I asked for a quick something from a few of the businesses participating:
The Artist’s Loft
The Artist’s Loft exists because of the local community. The goal of The Artist’s Loft is to bring art and community together. All of our inventory is hand made by local artists – your neighbors, friends, and family. So, what does community mean to me? It means our customers, our art, our survival as a store, it means everything!–

Sanctuary Blu
Sanctuary Blu is women owned and operated business that has been operating in the heart of Conshy for 4.5 years, with the support of our wonderful conshohocken community.
What does community mean to me?
Community means not just existing in a space but belonging to one. A group of people who not only share the same vicinity, but also the same want to see it and the people part of it thrive.
XTRA BOUTIQUE
Xtra became apart of the Conshohocken community about 4 years ago. It sure has been a wild ride. We came offering clothing and accessories for ladies in the community. Soon after Xtra opened, the world experienced a Pandemic. The encouragement and support from the wonderful people in Conshohocken helped to keep our doors open. We are on solid ground and thriving now as a result of the people in Conshy. Xtra wants to continue to grow and give back to the people who helped us become apart of the community. I appreciate each and every person that comes through our door. Xtra aims to support the ladies in our borough and to make them feel good about themselves.
Thirteen Circles
Thirteen Circles has only been open in Conshy for 2 months but we already feel right at home! Many people from the community including other local businesses have already come into the shop and welcomed us. It has been overwhelming to receive so much love and hospitality and to witness firsthand all of the rich history of the borough and the people who live here. Running a shop in the town we live in has always been a dream of ours and this town is where we made that dream come true! We bought our first house in Conshy back in April of 2019 and love being able to walk to work and say hi to everyone we pass along the way. We are looking forward to making even more history here and to be able to welcome future small businesses in the same wonderful way we were! We hope to see you at our first ever Small Business Saturday!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS ALL. THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING SHOPPING LOCAL THIS HOLIDAY SEASON.
Our elf is pointing out the wine jelly from Simply DiWine at The Artist’s Loft. It is one of our favorite things in all of the area, delicious, affordable and perfect for a little gift, or buy some for yourself and put it on the table with guests or simply on your morning toast.
