Large Group Photo – Men with Beards Wanted November 30th

We have used a photo over the years in our books and presentations, it is a photo we have always called Brothers of the Bush, a group of local guys with beards. The one photo we have is from 1950 and we’d like to do a modern version of it.

So, we figured the end of November would be a great time to do it. Some people do the “No shave November”, some hunters have a little extra hair on their face, other guys just have beards year round. Whatever the case we want to include you in this photo.

Bring your own chair, maybe a bike, if you want to stand, maybe wear a hat so you can find yourself a little easier later…. Let’s meet a little before 9:00 at the Monument at 2nd Avenue and Fayette Street. The photo will be taken at 9:00 on the dot, so please get there a little early so we can set it up.

After we take this photo we’ll put the two photos side by side and see how much times have changed. Please tell people you know with beards who should be in this photo.
