What to Do With YOUR Photos (new or old)
by Brian Coll
I don’t know about you, but early on in the pandemic, I had a little extra time. I sorted through photos, some times on my phone, clearing out some space if you will, and others, well others I had printed. Recently though, I saw a buddy of mine was creating short movies from photos… I sent him a little over a hundred photos and a few songs. I was thrilled when I got back the finished project. Bob Cahill created a cool movie that I could share with a few friends, seeing the finished product today, I want to create a couple more. The first one I did focused on a small group of friends, now I want to do one with just my family. Trust me, it was cool. Bob was a real artist blending the photos with smooth transitions from one photo to the the next. It is a neat project and I’ll play it at my house when I have a few free minutes.
If this is something you want to check out, reach out to Bob. His email is bobsfamilyphotos@gmail.com and he’ll walk you through the process.
Do you have old VHS Tapes and want them converted? Check out our friend Andrew Kibe. His website is http://www.andrewkibe.com Andrew is also an amazing videographer who recently came out to the Conshohocken Adult Prom, well, maybe not so recently, that was back in February, but his work is incredible.
If you need a photo restored or enlarged, or high quality duplicates made, Coll’s Custom Framing has a photo service available. Bring in your family treasures and share them with the rest of the family…. or….. did someone piss off the family and they are still in that large group shot that you’ll never recreate, well… Coll’s has a guy for that…
So, there are a few local options for how to save old photos, or create something new and unique out of your photos, or convert old tapes to DVD or digital files.
I probably shouldn’t tell you this, but if you have a large collection of photos and want to create your own Conshohocken website…. talk to our friend Josh at Knucklehead Productions. Knucklehead is our website guys and they are incredible. Easy to work with, very up to date.
