Wawa turned 60 today. Well, the first official store opened 60 years ago. They had been in the dairy business long before that, however it was 60 years ago they opened up a storefront.

That got me thinking about our store, number 67 on Butler Pike. When did it open? Well, I’m actually having a hard time believing it was May of 1976 according to an article in the Inquirer.

While we have you, Discover Conshohocken is hosting Spring into Conshohocken (an artist and creator sidewalk sale along the sidewalks on Fayette Street) This is a fun event that highlights a lot of our local artists and creators outside of some of your favorite local businesses. This event takes place Saturday May 4th from 10-2.

Ambucs Restaurant Rally is taking place Sunday May 19th. This event benefits Special Olympics. The restaurant community in Conshohocken is so generous to donate their time, staff and delicious food.
