Simon’s Heart Conshy Classic Bike Ride – August 18th

I just got off the phone with Jenn and Joe, two of the folks helping bring the Simon’s Heart Conshy Classic Bike Race to Conshohocken. Jenn and Joe both work with Simon’s Heart (sadly this foundation was brought to life when a seemingly healthy boy named Simon died in his sleep from an undetected and treatable heart condition. We always thought that sudden cardiac arrest was an adult thing.) Joe and I chatted a few weeks ago and we got back in touch as we are getting closer to the event. Joe is a cyclist with QCW and made the connection between Simon’s Heart, the racing community and Conshohocken.
I know some people might see the name Conshy Classic and think about the 5K that has been held on the same day as the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade every year. This is obviously different, but hopes to be just as fun. If you’ve cheered on the runners as you pick out your spot to watch the parade and party, this Conshy Classic might be just as fun for you.
The big things I took away from our chat was….
Simon’s Heart Conshy Classic is Just a Week Away!
