This is part of our People of Conshohocken series…
We have close to 10,000 people in our borough, add in the residents of West Conshohocken, Plymouth and Whitemarsh and we have a large community. Some of the people that will be featured will be well known in the area, some will have just moved into the area, some will have been here their entire lives. Some of them may be business owners, or people who walk around the area, or maybe work in the area. Maybe you know them, maybe you don’t. Everyone has a story. While we are only going to take their picture and maybe ask a question or two, we want to share these stories with you.

Okay, so maybe Santa doesn’t live in Conshohocken and to call him a People of Conshohocken might be a stretch, but for about a month he plays an important role here. Parents have to report to Santa when their children are good or bad…..
The real scoop about Santa is he is coming to Conshohocken tonight!!!!! The Conshohocken Ambucs and Mayor’s Special Events work together every year to bring Santa to old borough hall with the help of our local firemen and women. Free refreshments while you are waiting to meet the big guy and some of Mayor Bob Frost trivia thrown in while we wait for Santa to show up and light the big Christmas Tree. Santa will be there between 6:-6:30, but if you show up early there is a nice crowd.
A little about one of Santa’s helpers…. our friend Bobby Moore has done a great job for the past 15 or 16 years. He loves it! He looks forward to this every year. He is friendly and always makes sure one of his helpers passes out candy canes to the children that sit on Santa’s lap.
A personal note….. This was my daughters first time meeting Santa a couple years back and she loved it. If you are nervous, he does a great job with the little ones. Hope to see you there.
