This is part of our People of Conshohocken series…
We have close to 10,000 people in our borough, add in the residents of West Conshohocken, Plymouth, Whitemarsh and Lafayette Hill and we have a large community. Some of the people that will be featured will be well known in the area, some will have just moved into the area, some will have been here their entire lives. Some of them may be business owners, or people who walk around the area, or maybe work in the area. Maybe you know them, maybe you don’t. Everyone has a story. While we are only going to take their picture and maybe ask a question or two, we want to share these stories with you.

Sometimes I go through my day in Conshohocken and think everyone knows this guy or that girl. So of course I thought everybody has to know my buddy Josh right? Well, not really, we have a lot of people here and everyone has a story. Josh is kind of unique in a good way. He is one of the people that makes Conshohocken a great community. I’ve written before about the Conshohocken FREE Christmas Dinner in the past, but I thought I’d ask Josh a question or two and do a People of Conshohocken with him…. so here you go.
What do you love about this community?
I’ve lived here for over 15 years now. The thing that I found really awesome about Conshohocken is that Conshohocken’s a real community. People here know and support each other. There are parades, events, and a real sense of community. It was the ideal place for me to buy a home and open my business.
Tell us about the Conshohocken Free Christmas Dinner.
The Conshohocken Free Christmas Dinner started over 10 years ago. The original motivation was to provide relief to the local food cupboard. If I was able to provide meals on Christmas Day then there’d be more resources available through the food cupboard for individuals in January and February. Since then it’s grown every year. Now we not only feed individuals and families in need, now we also feed first responders that serve and protect us on Christmas Day. So this year we’re also feeding all the first responders that are working on duty in both Conshohocken and West Conshohocken, Norristown, Plymouth, Whitemarsh, and Bridgeport. The best thing about the Free Christmas Dinner is if you go online to https://conshohockenfreechristmasdinner.com and request a meal, you get a meal. So whether you’re an individual, one of our older citizens, or family, all you have to do is sign up, and then on Christmas Day, pick up. Take the hot meals home and enjoy them with your friends or family.
Tell us about Knucklehead Productions.
I started Knucklehead Productions almost 15 years ago now. The concept was to be able to provide professional websites and graphics to local companies that have a small business budget. We do everything from basic websites that showcase products or services, to large websites that sell 20,000+ products. We design logos for businesses, print and sales materials (like brochures and flyers). The best thing about the our business is that we get to meet with so many different types of clients every day, from tradespeople and sole proprietors, inventors and professionals, to manufacturers and retailers. Its wonderful to work everyday with such amazing clients.
What’s your favorite Conshohocken memory?
My favorite memory is my involvement with the Conshohocken Funfest in years past. I was involved when raised funds to support the fellowship house. It was a great event, and the community members and business owners involved really put their heart and soul into raising as much money as they could to support the fellowship house. Those were always great events.
I worked with Josh on the Funfest for years, we’ve worked on the FREE Christmas together over the years, he has built this website that you are reading right now. He’s a good all around guy. If you see him out at a local restaurant sit down and chat with him.
