Our friends down at Scrub a Pup Pup mentioned a new doggy daycare service to me the other day and I wanted to get some info out there in case you or a friend are in need of a local place to take your dogs.

I reached out to Emily the owner and she was thrilled to share some information about the services offered there. I want to wish you Emily the best of luck there! Here are the services offered and feel free to give them a buzz if you have any questions:

A few things about Out of the Crate!

• We are so excited to be Conshohocken’s FIRST dog daycare facility! (Located right on E. Elm Street)
• We pride ourselves in being the next evolution of dog daycare by prioritizing SAFETY.  In comparison to other daycare facilities, we are more of a “specialty” daycare, where your dog is not just thrown into a yard of 50+ dogs.  We run small playgroups to allow for a much safer and fun play environment for all the dogs.  At Out of the Crate, your dog will never be in a playgroup of more than 10 dogs, allowing us to really create a special bond with your pup!
• Our facility is primarily indoors with an outdoor run which allows all dogs to get some fresh air and relieve themselves outdoors, as trained. In addition, we installed self-draining potty stations throughout our indoor play areas as well to give the dogs the opportunity to relieve themselves during play, if needed.   
• Dogs are ALWAYS supervised by our highly trained staff; play groups are selected by size, personality and energy levels.  
• To enroll in our dog daycare program, we have a very in-depth evaluation process for each dog that we call a “Playgroup Compatibility Evaluation” AKA Free first day of daycare.  The evaluation typically lasts around 4 hours to allow us to really get to know your pup and match them with the best play group.
• At our facility, we offer the following daycare add-on services: dog baths, nail trims and ear cleanings! You can sign up for these services in our lobby at drop-off.
• Dog daycare or off-leash group play is certainly NOT for every dog.  In addition to our daycare program, we also offer in-home services such as dog walking, mid-day potty breaks, vacation visits (in-home pet sitting) as well as a dog taxi for all your dog’s transportation needs! (Busy at work? We can take them to daycare, the groomers, the vet, etc.)
• We pride ourselves in having the most convenient hours in town! Our daycare facility is open M-F 7a-8p and Saturdays 8a-8p. We are open RAIN OR SHINE… or maybe I should say SNOW OR SHINE! 😊
