We took a peek inside this weekend and the fabulous Daniela de Souza was at the counter and for a split second I thought I caught her opening day…. but we need to be patient a little longer. I’m not an expert at this type of thing, but it looked like they are ready to open any day now. Knowing Daniela, she wants to get everything perfect for opening day. I can’t wait to try out the food and pastries. For those of you wondering where this is.. it is the old Pete’s Deli. Merenda Box is a sister of ‘feine…. so if you need a coffee or hot chocolate today, check out ‘feine on Fayette Street between 8th and 9th ave.
