I heard this news the other day and couldn’t believe the timing, I had friends celebrating the birth of the Marine Corps and this Marine was struck by a car and killed in Norristown. The next day was Veterans Day. I’m sorry to this mans family and friends. His widow is looking for some help, if anyone has a Marine Uniform, she would love to see him buried in it. As you can see below from my friend Walt Hartnett, the fit can be adjusted. Let’s help this family out if you can.
From the VFW and Walt Hartnett:
On November 10th Samuel Jackson USMC, Vietnam Veteran was struck and killed in Norristown. His widow is now looking for help. She wants him to be buried in a Marine Uniform. Anyone willing to donate a uniform for this fallen comrade will be appreciated. We need a quick turn around on this request so please share as you see necessary. Samuel was tall and thin but fit is not important as the Funeral Director will cut the uniform for size. Message us directly or call VFW Post 1074 Commander Walt Hartnett at 484-756-0495.
please share.
