Gone Too Soon – Mark Magliente

I’m still in disbelief that Mark Magliente passed away this week at 50 years old. Mark was a quiet staple in our community. In his younger days he was always around the little league fields, playing, coaching or even being an umpire. More recently he was a local realtor, but no matter what he did for a living, his favorite thing was raising his two daughters with his wife Jennifer. Girls, I’m thinking of you. Mark you will be missed.
Here is the official obituary:
Mark Anthony Magliente, 50, of Conshohocken unexpectedly passed away at his home on August 30, 2023. Mark was born on September 25, 1972 to Gasper A. “Joe” and Beverly J. (Reynolds) Magliente. Mark was the loving husband and best friend of Jennifer L. (Carracappa) Magliente for the past 24 years. Mark went by many names to many people: mister markster, pops, ump, mayor mark, coach, padre, mark mags, and sunshine. He was often self-described as a math nerd, carb hater, minimalist, and beach lover. Mark was a graduate of Archbishop Kennedy High School before continuing at Drexel University, graduating class of 1995. Along with his wife Jenn, he is survived by his children Spoon and Felicia Magliente, his sister Joanne Magliente Van Buskirk, and many nieces, nephews, and god-children whom he loved very much. He was predeceased by his mother, father, brother Joseph G. Magliente, and brother-in-law Frank Van Buskirk.
