Girl Scout Troop 7044 Donates Cookies
by Brian Coll
Yes, I may be a bit biased (proud dad of a Girl Scout in this troop). Having said that, I’m proud of these girls and the way they are committed to our community. They have taken part in community clean ups, they hold meetings in the Mary Wood Park House and recently they marched in the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. This past week, they took over a hundred and fifty boxes of Girl Scout Cookies and to the folks at the Marshall Lee Towers and the Colonial Neighborhood Council. Keep up the great work scouts! Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen, it could have been an online purchase that you marked for “cookie share” or you could have given the girls a couple extra bucks at one of their cookie booths (maybe at the Conshohocken Free Library or other places in our community). They took all of the donations and made good by delivering them in our community. Thank you everyone!
