Do You Want to Support the Girl Scouts, but not eat the cookies? Here’s a way

It’s Girl Scout cookie season! By now you may have seen local troops set up at the Conshohocken Free Library or outside a coffee shop or super market. If you’ve seen them in person or through a friend on social media, you may have ordered for yourself, or maybe you haven’t because you don’t actually want the cookies. If you are in the second group, here’s a way you can support the Girl Scouts. Without a box of cookies in your house.
Use this link and do one of two things. First, start a Girl Scout Delivery order. In the section where it asks for your name, put your first name and then put CNC. This way, whatever you order (go with the basics Thin Mints, Caramel Delights, one of the peanut butter ones) can be delivered on your behalf right to the Colonial Neighborhood Council. The second way is to hit the cookie share button once you start the Girl Scout Delivery. For Troop 7044 the cookie share in years past has went to local hospitals, local organizations and the Colonial Neighborhood Council.
This is a great way to spread some cheer this time of year. My daughter Nora is proud to be a Girl Scout, she loves the time she gets to spend with her troop, working on cookie season or working in the community. She has positive role models through scouting and cookie season helps teach her real life skills such as counting, creating and sorting orders, being friendly at booths like in a retail environment and more. We thank you for your support.
