Before I go down memory lane…. Conshohocken has an 11U team playing for a championship tomorrow night ( 7/16/2025 ) at Sutcliffe Park, the game starts at 8:00. Go to the park, cheer the boys on!

You may have seen there is a Facebook event for Conshy night at the Reading Phillies, we have FREE tickets at Coll’s Custom Framing. The game is this Sunday at 5:00. If you have a young ballplayer, have them bring their glove and ball and join some other Conshy kids on the field before the game. Join a group of us about 4:15 along the third base line. This event has been so much fun for the past few years. Now, let me go down memory lane for a minute…. I’ve spent a fair share of time at Sutcliffe Park this summer (like I have for most of my life) and now my children are at the point in their lives where they see friends from different parts of their lives. School friends, baseball teammates and now just friends from the park. It is very cool to see.

Two more things…. the paver walkway should be going in somewhat soonish by the batting cages. And, if there is a sandwich shop/restaurant upgrading their large drink fridge, the snack stand could use a new one. Reach out if you have one in good working order, thank you.

I do have one more thing…summer concerts at Sutcliffe Park this week on July 17th the band Where’s Pete will perform, on the 24th Zydeco-A-GO-GO. Then the concerts shirt to Mary Wood Park on July 31st The Plants take the stage, August 7th Paul Moore Band, August 14th Beg, Borrow & Steal and August 21 Supernaturals. The concerts normally go from 7-9, family friendly and FREE! Bring your lawn chairs.
