I know….what have I been waiting for! Well, I can tell you, I may have had a biscuit from The Biscuit Lady before yesterday, but I had never went in myself. So, yesterday I went in and wasn’t sure what to expect. Up until yesterday, my knowledge of biscuits fell into a couple categories… cheesy biscuits at Red Lobster, or biscuits that normally go under some kind of gravy at a breakfast place. I also have baked the kind where the can pops and some fat doughboy is on the label…

Well, now I know I just never found the place that exceeds all of my previous knowledge and experiences. I was a bit overwhelmed when I walked in because there were so many options. Luckily for me, it was a slow morning. I am sure on weekends it’s busier, maybe that would have been okay if there was a line and I could have figured things out. As it was, I thought I wanted a real breakfast and I opted for the biscuits and gravy… incredible. I am a fan. I may have had better, but I can’t tell you when or where.

I did get a 4 pack of assorted biscuits to go and this is where it gets interesting. They had biscuits that looked like donuts. The 4 I got to share at my shop… one plain…one honey glazed? A blueberry and a strawberry. Everyone that had a piece said it was the best biscuit they ever had.
