Let’s get right into it! This is the 5th Conshy Adult Prom. In 2020 it was Who Spiked the Punch, 2021 was a non event with world events beyond our control. Back to the 80’s came next and then Studio 54. Last year it was The Fayette Gala. This year the prom committee asked you what you wanted the theme to be. It was a close vote, but in the end….. Masquerade is the winner.
The big questions from possible attendees focus on fashion and entertainment. As far as the fashion goes, the prom committee can’t wait to see your outfits. There are no real rules. If you like it, wear it. There will be plenty of photo opportunities, so you may want to keep that in mind. If you don’t have a mask to wear, the folks at Regrowth Family Acupuncture stepped up as a sponsor this year and provided the prom with a selection of masks.
As for the entertainment, live music by Live @ 5 will have you dancing the night away, and when they take a break DJ Jammin J will keep you on your feet. There is a 360 video booth, photographers roaming the event, Photo Booth and more.
Here is a bit about Live @ 5:
Live @ 5 is a dynamic cover band that brings together seasoned musicians from various bands, combining their individual styles and experiences to create a high-energy, unforgettable live music experience. Drawing from a rich pool of talent, our members have performed in a wide range of genres, and each brings their own unique flair to every performance.
A little bit about us:
Samantha: Lead vocals. Sam has graced stages all over the tri-state area with local cover bands, like Technical V, craVe, and most recently, Covert Pop. She brings powerful vocals to every performance and knows how to get the crowd involved and keep the energy high.
Brad: Lead guitar and vocals. You may recognize Brad from funky bands, like Nay Nay and the Fat Junk, showcasing incredible versatility. From intricate solos to catchy riffs, he brings a wealth of musicality to the band’s sound.
Dennis: Bass and vocals. Having played with bands like the P-rents and, currently, Sixty Sense, Dennis knows how to lay down the groove and drive the rhythm forward. With a deep pocket and a keen ear for melody, he keeps the band locked in and adds a solid foundation to every song.
Chris: Drums. Chris’s drumming has been heard with the P-rents, where he has honed a deep sense of timing and energy. From rock to pop, he brings precision and flair, keeping the beat tight and the crowd dancing all night.
Pete: Guitar and vocals. Pete provides solid rhythm and dynamic energy with every performance. Having performed with bands like the P-rents and, currently, The Limit, Pete ensures that the crowd stays engaged and the rhythm section stays tight.
From classic rock anthems to today’s hits, get ready to dance, sing along, and create lasting memories with Live @ 5!
The prom committee can’t wait to see them live!
