Fall into Conshy and Shop, Eat & Treat (details here)

This past May a group of small shops and eateries invited local crafters and artists to set up in front of their shops for an event called Spring into Conshy. So, Fall into Conshy is a similar event with the goal to showcase some talented local people while inviting our community to walk around and Discover Conshohocken. Fall into Conshy will be held October 7th from 10-2. Look for some amazing artists and crafters around Conshohocken that day.

Discover Conshohocken is the group of small shops, boutiques, eateries that recently held an ice cream social at the Conshohocken Free Library raising $500 for the library, while getting lots of folks together on the lawn at the library. In July the group had a borough wide lemonade stand featuring a number of local children setting up stands. That event raised over $500 for local charities and a lot of young entrepreneurs saw what it takes to make a few dollars for themselves or donating to a local charity (it was great).

Currently Discover Conshohocken is planning a larger event throughout our borough called Shop, Eat & Treat on October 28th from 10-4. At this point, we’d like to invite all local business owners to join us that day in handing out treats to folks as they stroll around Conshohocken. This could be something as simple as buying some candy and putting a bowl out by your door, it could be more… if you are proud of your cookies, or orange juice maybe this is a good day to hand out some samples.
