Let me start by thanking the Sabia family for rescuing these photos and thinking of us. These 5 rare photos were recently saved from a dumpster and shared with us, and now we are sharing with you.
Each photo shows us something very unique. If you remember the old bridge, there were ramps coming onto the bridge and off the bridge, some of those are showed in these photos. The canal is also visible in one photo. The large pillar in one of the photo still stands today and supports our current bridge. One photos show Forrest Street. We love the photo of the workers!
These photos were shared with us and we wanted to share them with you. If you find some cool old photos of the community and want to share them with us, stop by and see us at Coll’s Custom Framing 324 Fayette Street here in Conshohocken. We have a large collection of photos, which we have used in books we have written as well as helped decorate a number of homes, restaurants and offices in the area. We try to share our local history here on Conshystuff.com with you.
