Flocco’s – We Love you! Even without Nike

Yesterday I saw a post on Facebook that Nike was no longer going to be doing business with Flocco’s. Here is a partial text from the post from Flocco’s:

Support Small Business Not Nike!

After 45 years of being a loyal partner, Nike has informed us that they will no longer sell to small businesses – the same stores that helped grow their brand! Horrible!!

So today, I went and bought a great pair of Sketcher’s, even saved a few bucks in the process.

Here’s the thing, everyone has the right to do whatever they want and that includes businesses. I just know when I go to Conshohocken Baseball & Softball League, I see places like Flocco’s on the banners that line the fields. I don’t see Amazon, this is all of America, not just Conshohocken. At Plymouth Whitemarsh Spartans I saw a whole bunch of small businesses, not big box stores…. To the folks at Nike, you got it wrong. You’re taking your product out of a store (and from the looks of it, many other small stores across our country that sell your shoes to the next generation) You are taking your products out of a store that supports every youth sports league in the area.

While I could go on, this isn’t meant to be bashing Nike, more of an article in support of not only one small business but so many other that are affected by this type of corporate behavior on a national level.

We love you Flocco’s!
