My friend Jane told me about the composting that she does with Back to Earth and I was intrigued and thought I’d share this info with you. Here’s what it is about:

Jane will be pedaling around town…with trailer in tow…and with electric assist for those hills…and doing the pick-up route at the homes of our subscribers. The mission of Back to Earth Compost Crew is to keep food scraps out of landfills and instead use them to build healthy soil in our community. This woman-owned, local small business is looking for more Conshohocken households that want to start composting! 
It’s easy! Sign up on their website. First month is FREE and no obligation! After that, $18/month gets you curbside pick-up every other week. Back to Earth will provide the bucket, you and your family fill it with compostables, they text you a reminder to put it out for curbside pick-up, and they take the contents to compost sites and farms in the Greater Philly region.
