Conshohocken Restaurant Week – Starting Today (Goes Two Weeks)

16 restaurants are participating in Conshohocken Restaurant Week. It’s a great time of year for it. It kicks off tonight. Many of the restaurants are allowed to expand their indoor seating as well as take advantage of the outdoor seating most of them have worked hard on all summer.

In no particular order, here are the 16 restaurants taking part this year.

Look up their special menu’s and special prices. I believe most places are offering take out as well.

I have to point out, Morethanthecurve.com, they really got this ball rolling a few years back and I think it is one of the best weeks in Conshohocken and this year it has expanded to two weeks (it gives us more chances to try out more places, and with reduced seating available it also helps the restaurants)

If I can be real for a minute here. I am very concerned for our bars, deli’s, sandwich shops and restaurants making it through this winter. They have all done a great job in creating spaces in their parking lots, on the sidewalks, in the streets in some cases. There are all fighting to stay alive through this difficult time. Some of these restaurants are bringing in live music and having the artists sing and play outside to lift spirits and keep the arts alive. If restaurant week isn’t your thing, I understand, maybe order something from a new place or treat a friend to a gift card to one of your favorite places if you can. These places employ our neighbors, our friends, they support the little leagues, the youth sports, the beef and beers for our co-workers. They support the fire companies, the donate to the charities in our community. Something that went unnoticed, when things took a turn for the worse and our businesses and schools were shut down, many of the restaurants in our community stepped up and help feed the children in our community who were accustomed to getting school lunch provided for them. Even in the face of them closing the doors themselves, they stepped up for the youth of our community.

If you can get out for restaurant week, I know they would appreciate it, if you can continue to support them year round, we’ll be in a better place coming out of this whenever that may be.
