Recap of the Mardi Gras Murder Mystery Night at the Conshohocken Free Library

This past Friday night the Conshohocken Free Library transformed into the VooDoo Ball in New Orleans. A fun fundraiser brought out a full house to the community room in the Library. The sold out crowd witnessed the crew from Without a Cue Productions put on a heck of a show. Most of the crowd had on beads and the fun Mardi Gras masks as they watched the hilarious David Micun, Monica Fotusky, Carl Smith and the amazing Jen Jaynes have fun with their roles of Cricket, Josephine, Beau and Magnolia respectively.

If you want to book them for a show check out their website:

This was the third time Without a Cue Productions has put on a Murder Mystery at the Library, past shows include Cheers to Murder as well as a Dickens themed Christmas Murder Mystery last year. They are a fantastic company to work with from the set up point of view as well as a great time if you are a member of the audience. I would highly recommend working with them if you are looking to have a fun fundraiser and I would definitely go to a show of theirs if they are performing in the area.

Members of the audience were treated to a great show and at the end you are wondering “who did it”. Long before the end of the night…. the crowd had a Mardi Gras themed buffet consisting of jambalaya, gumbo, fried green tomatoes, corn bread, beignets and mini cheesesteaks… why the mini cheesesteaks you might be asking? Well the Saints beat the Eagles in the playoffs and we couldn’t have all New Orleans food right? Southern Cross brought in most of the Cajun menu, Brunch-Everyday brought in chicken and sausage Jambalaya as well as the beignets and the Boathouse provided the mini cheesesteaks.

It was a great night, with a great crowd and a big thank you to Without a Cue Productions for making everyone forget real life for a few hours. The staff and board of the Conshohocken Free Library thank everyone for attending.
