Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf Visited Conshohocken Today

by Brian Coll

We were at Conshohocken Borough Hall today when Governor Tom Wolf visited with local officials and held a press conference. The governor met with local officials including Montgomery County Commissioner Val Arkoosh, Pennsylvania House of Representative Mary Jo Daley, Conshohocken Council Members Anita Barton, Colleen Leonard and Karen Tutino in addition to Mayor Bob Frost.

We have been covering the Conshohockens and surrounding communities for a number of years, and by our accounts this is the first time a sitting Governor has been to Conshohocken in about 30 years. We met with Ed Rendell when his book came out in 2012 at the Plymouth Barnes and Noble. Governor Tom Ridge visited Plymouth during his tenure and of course President George W. Bush visited Conshohocken as the first sitting President to visit our hometown.
