Medical Marijuana Coming Soon To Fayette Street?

Medical Marijuana Coming Soon to Fayette Street?

by Brian Coll

With Pennsylvania’s Medical Marijuana law in place for a little over two years now, we knew it was only a matter of time for a dispensary to open up here in Conshohocken. Actually when I saw the “Grow Supply” store open on West 6th Ave recently I thought that may be what that store would be about. Maybe in the future it will be. Today though we are talking about the site at East 7th Avenue and Fayette Street, home to an Exxon station for years and in recent years more of a garage where vehicles would be worked on.

I heard from a friend some time ago that the location would eventually become home to a medical marijuana store and today that was confirmed to me from a couple other sources. I also heard from that friend that there are already places online (for example, somewhere like Puffmen) where they can get vaping products so seeing how a dispensary will do here will be interesting.

We don’t know how a business goes about getting a license ( we did a google search and read about it, if you are interested you can read about it on your own ) and we don’t know how it happens in the borough of Conshohocken.

There is a dispensary at 420 Plymouth Road, Plymouth Meeting operated by Ilera Healthcare.

Here are some photos from the demolition that began today, clearing the way for it to happen.
