Local Effort to Help the Puerto Rico Hurricane Victims

Last week, Hurricane Maria pummeled Puerto Rico and left the entire island devastated and without power.

There is a local effort in progress to help the Puerto Rico hurricane victims and you can help too! Sal Giannone of Sal’s Barbershop is heading a local effort that includes several other local business owners that have rented the u-haul trucks to to get the items listed below directly to Puerto Rico.

Joe & Michelle Bucci of Bucci Jewelers have made an incredible necklace (pictured below) that is being raffled off for $20.00 (for 3 tickets) – the cash that is being collected will go towards buying much needed generators. Donations are being collected until 10/6/17

Cases of water * feminine hygiene products * batteries (sizes C, D, and DD) * mosquito repellant *
powdered milk * Pedialyte * Ensure * adult and children’s diapers * battery operated fans and lights (available at Ikea)
* plastic gas cans * Pet food * non-perishable food* rotary and old push button phones *heavy duty plastic trash bags
*durable work gloves * plastic utensils & Paper plates

Cash donations will be used to buy water and generators!
Clothes are currently not being accepted.
