Cute Story – Conshohocken and West Conshohocken
by Brian Coll
We authored a book and have a second book coming out in December. It has been out for a week now and people have been picking them up and then the cool thing is we see some of these same people around the borough and they tell us what they like and in some cases don’t like about the book. Today at Wawa an old friend told me he loved the book and he’ll probably be reading it until December when the next book comes out because it is so big and there are so many great things in the book….
At the store today (Coll’s Custom Framing) where we have about 30 books left available for sale a lady came in and she had picked up the book the other day. She wanted to tell us how thrilled she was to see herself in the book. I asked what page and she told me so we opened up a store copy to check it out. It was a great photo of a collection of Playground Queens. I won’t give away the year… but it was over 20 years ago where this tradition was in the borough.
She was a little shy about letting us take the photo, but how cool is this…..
Thank you Dolores DiSante (playground queen of West 3rd Ave) for letting us take your photo today, and we are so happy you are enjoying your book. She is in the top row in the middle if you were wondering.
If you ordered a book, we look forward to hearing what you think of it, if you need a book, don’t wait, there are less than 50 available and they have been selling quickly. Stop by Coll’s Custom Framing to pick up yours.
